Wandering Workshop Giveaway

We had a big clearout at home this Summer, the first one in years. After a major reshuffle, Miles finally has his own room. He even has a bunk bed for sleepovers and a really cool armchair to chill whilst listening to his favourite Rapper. He's eight and a half now and like all kids, he's growing up fast!

If you look carefully, you'll see a wooden boat on the top shelf of his bookcase. It looks like it's been there forever. This little beauty is here to stay. I wouldn't be surprised if he passes it on to his own children one day. It's that kind of toy, you see, a classic, handcrafted gem that will be loved by generations to come.

I'm a huge fan of The Wandering Workshop for so many reasons, but most of all for the passion and love of artisan design that you can sense in every toy. Jose and Athina live in the Cyclades in Greece. They seem to pour their heart and soul into creating unique, high-quality, eco-friendly toys to encourage educational play and stimulate our children's imagination. Take a look for yourself.

This "Little Boat Without An Anchor" is a four-piece puzzle toy that rocks gently once assembled. Made from high-quality CE marked birch plywood and painted with non toxic water-based paints, solvent-free varnish and natural beeswax, it is sturdy and suited to children of 1year and above.
We'll be keeping ours in the family...

If  you'd like a chance -  or two -  to win this beautiful wooden boat by The Wandering Workshop:

1) Leave me a comment below (making sure to leave me an email address)
3) Spread the news via twitter, facebook, pinterest or any other social media network and you will get two names in the hatI (please leave me a comment here to let me know).

This giveaway runs until Sunday 6th of October at 6 pm, CET
It is open to all international readers.
I will announce the winner on Monday 7th.

Good Luck!

Distressed

Distressed is best!
I"m a shabby chic girl, you know.
So I'm super pleased that I listened to all my Instagram friends and
 left this old cupboard untouched.

Hmm, shades of white

Oh, in case you didn't know,

Every Cloud Has A Rainbow Lining

 Happy Colour My Monday!

Dark, dismal and depressing. Sound familiar?
We usually have little reason to complain here in the south of France but it's raining  today, the kids are full of cold and I'm ready for a big dose of mood-boosting colour.

Did I tell you that I was going home to the UK next week?
Hmm, rain never was my tasse de thé ...

Thanks for the inspiration:
