Denodada - All is Full of Love

 

Are you all still reading blogs I wonder?

I am, but I'm aware that my tastes have changed over the past four years.

I still love following foreign blogs like Denodada though. I was drawn in right away.

Browse just a few pages and you will discover a sensitive, thoughtful English teacher who is taking care of her beloved Grandma after two strokes and a wonderful ceramic artist and illustrator. I hope these few images inspire you to have a peek at Denitsa's work and stay a while.

 Lots of pictures here today! I could have gone on and on and on...

Thanks to Dasa C, I recently discovered the Barcelona-based kids' crafts site Milanta offering a fresh and inspiring collection of natural, mostly handmade toys. You know I love cardboard,  wood and DIY kits, so I was smitten straightaway!

Have a look at Milanta's wooden  furniture, play tents, fabric activity mats and the beautiful, beautiful Montessori / Waldorf-style " sensorial" sets. I'd love one with wooden objects myself.

I have a feeling the site may be in Catalan as I have only been able to half-translate it so far. I hope they ship internationally, but please don't hesitate to contact them via their website, blog or facebook if you're interested in buying anything.

Animals in Love

Yes, I've shared some of Jean Marie Duvivier's illustrations before.

I love his graphic style.

These images are from his latest children's book project, Animals in Love, and I believe he's still looking for a publisher.

They'd make fantastic posters for a kid's room, don't you think?
