Igrushkina

Just take a look at these! I came across Russian soft toy maker Tasha's (aka akalu) craft website the other night and think her one-of-a-kind creations are beautiful. Have a look for yourself, and send her an email/or leave a comment if you're interested in buying anything or finding out more.

Olivelse

There are certain places on the web that you just have to know about and Olivelse (Olivier and Else) is one of them. If you've never visited this French husband and wife team's wonderfully inspiring blog, you need to head there now! Who cares if it's in French? This couple have great taste, a fantastic eye for colour and graphic design and their blog is chock-full of amazing links and beautiful photos. I'm telling you!
Olivelse is very well established in the French children's market and beyond. The couple have just opened a new online shop selling their latest range of irresistible products, including their signature soft toy /cushion ukeleles, children's bedding, bags and softies, all made from beautiful, colourful fabrics sourced in Japan, France, Belgium, Australia and the US.

Olivelse also runs an online vintage shop where you can find a selection of retro kids' furniture, fabric, books and the odd toy, like this cute pull-along Fisher Price teddy from the early '50s. Check in regularly to see their latest finds, and act quickly if something takes your fancy - Olivelse is hugely popular and things tend to disappear before you can say Oh la la!

Endo

I came across these beautiful illustrations by Polish artist/illustrator Agata Dudek the other day and decided to find out more.
Czy mozna dotknac teczy? ( Can I touch the rainbow?)
Przemek Wechterowicz/Agata Dudek, Endo, 2009

Both of these books were published by Endo, which, to my surprise, turns out to be an online treasure trove, full of unusual Polish finds for kids. Their site is obviously in Polish but with a bit of help from Google, you'll soon get the hang of things and start bookmarking beauties like this

Pillow

Puppet set
Princess bedding

Bird memory game

Felt egg cosy

Child's apron

Kid's chef's hat and recipe book

and so much more - Do take a peek!
