High Five #82

Allez, it's a while since we've had any really nice wooden toys on here, so today I'm giving a big High Five to the new-to- me Croatian maker

I love the simple, minimal designs and packaging, which remind me of my dad's old Bayko set that I used to love playing with as a child.

A-Hanging

I have written about Beatrice Oetinger's poetic textile creations before.

I have a feeling that everything this woman makes is beautiful.

Tumblr has introduced me to her many interests, including washing lines,

a favourite of mine too.

Beatrice has just opened a "textile backery" on Dawanda selling a small selection of her mini wild clothes sculptures for Christmas, Spring, Summer ...

I am in love.

Again.

We've been busy working on our house, and I'm pleased to say that it actually feels as if we're getting somewhere, at long last! A couple more major jobs to finish and I'll be ready to decorate for Christmas.

We made a very simple Advent calendar using olive branches from our garden, strips of old jeans and sachets of chocolates yesterday. As you can see, it's pretty minimal and goes well with our simple white and grey interior.
