Happy April 1st!

I love this time of year here.

We've been spending a lot of time outdoors in the garden and in the countryside. 

I suddenly feel very lucky and grateful for everything I have. 

All the little things, you know?

Have you heard? The ever-so talented French stylist Anne Millet has opened an online shop, as beautiful and creative as her colorful, inspiring blog.  

 

 

Woven kids' chairs, poetic pillows, panties made from vintage hankies... colour, colour, colour. 

I love it all, each and every print, pattern and detail. 

Can someone shrink my feet so I can wear those fantastic Bensimon shoes this Summer? Please???

Yes, I think I'm going to make this a regular feature.

I am forever inspired by the internet. I come across so many beautiful images, products and moments each week, and a handful always stay with me. It might be just a colour, a texture, an atmosphere. I want to put them in a special place, go back and take a peek. Little things I love, quite simply.

Let's keep them here, shall we?

Happy Colour My Monday!

I have so much to share with you all this week, it's going to be a goodie, you'll see! Spring has sprung, the birds are a-singing, the trees are a-blossoming and the internet is teeming with amazing finds...

I'd like to kick of with Debesy's brand new Denim Collection because, well, it's such fun! Some of you may remember my Handmade Charlotte post about those very huggable bunny pillows. Debesy is a new Baltic design platform founded by young designer Agnė Adukevičiūtė, based in Vilnius, Lithuania. All of Agné's toys and home decor items are handmade, minimalist and playful. 

Watch out for her new range over on etsy, and make sure to follow her on pinterest and facebook too - The kind of creative kids' design I love!

High Five #86

I've been spending quite a bit of time down under recently, well virtually at least. Many of you will already be familiar with Sydney-based JoyJoie's fabulous secret hideaway tepee range which won the Australian Craft Award for Toys last year. If you aren't, you're in for a treat! (sit down for 5 mins with a drink, there are lots of lovely models to peruse!).

Today I'm giving a big High Five to JoyJoie's other fun products, available on etsy and several stores in Australia. Suzy clearly loves designing for kids. Bright mushroom floor cushions and animal footprint stepping stones - that's a happy combination any any child's room. Take a peek, you'll see!
