Tracy Nors
Do you remember how much I love the Princess and the Pea? Well, so does Tracy Nors, an incredibly talented lady living in Denmark.
I came across Tracy's work a couple of weeks ago via one of my favorite blogs Sweet, Sweet Life. This gorgeous doll print is part of Tracy's current "Re-told Tales" exhibition and is available for purchase here .
She will also be giving away a print to two lucky blog members. If you want a chance to win, hurry and sign up to her beautiful blog before 28th August.
Tracy obviously loves vintage toys and dolls, and has an amazing collection of them (see her flickr images), but she also has impeccable taste in home interiors.
Tracy is a mixed media artist. She is addicted to vintage things and works with recycled furniture and accessories, textiles, papier mache, painting, collage and print to produce one-off interior objects, lighting and surface pattern designs.
She makes gorgeous chandeliers and lamps for children
along with beautiful bowls, brooches and bird collages.
Tracy is one very talented lady. But that's not all - she also works as a creative styling consultant for a new online interiors magazine called Boboho featuring designs, decorating ideas and articles on artists embracing her eco-chic, re-use and recycle philosophy. She is currently working on a new website with her equally talented photographer husband Jesper. I can't wait to see what this dynamic husband-wife team have in store for us, can you?
Hurray your back! hope you had a wonderful time. LOVE the lamp.
ReplyDeleteAgree. That lamp is inspired! Now I know what to do with all the lovely vintagey toys that I've snaffled from carboots and charidee shops!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link! Beautiful work!
