If you're lucky enough to live in Melbourne, don't miss this wonderful exhibition, 100 Kites, by Clemens Habicht at the Lamington Drive Gallery (runs to 10 Oct). This is the Paris-based illustrator, graphic designer and film director's first solo exhibition, described as "an illustrative exercise in restrictions and limitations". Habicht set himself the task of creating 100 collaged kites, made from second-hand books, and has made a video piece of his birds flying over Paris to accompany them. Lovely!
Check out Habicht's beautiful illustration, design and film portfolio here.
