The colour in the snow is magical isn't it?
ReplyDeleteI loved these over at Lumetta Deborah - thanks for reposting them here as well as the dress and painting. I love every kind of folk art. Just enjoying my latest world of interiors which was supposed to be the very last after a long time, but there are lovely things in there that are much in this spirit. I may have to do a u-turn, or just come visit you every day!
ReplyDeleteLovely stuff posted here as is your habit, Deborah. Have a great Easter with family and hope to see you at Kids.Modern. Thanks for your continued inspiration and correspondence.
ReplyDeleteThat dress is absolutely incredible! I love folk art, but I am stricken by that dress!
ReplyDeleteWe have the same Easter witch tradition in Finland! Something I miss here in Australia.
ReplyDeleteThe dress is absolutely divine. Especially the embroidery is exquisite.
la robe est vraiment fantastique, elle serait une joli robe de mariée dans une fête de campagne, entourée de balles de foin, de lumière de fin d'après midi près d'une grange...
ReplyDeletewonderful images, the dress is amazing. happy easter from roddy&ginger! Vx

That Mid-Eighteenth Century Dress is so great.
