Today,
Was a special day, kind of.
Woke up to scorching sun,
The garden parched, already.
Had planned a girls' day out
Just down the road, in Nîmes.
Busy, hot and festive,
It never disappoints.
And, as always, I am moved by this monument,
So old,
So imposing,
And with so many stories to tell.

ReplyDeleteIt was Kay - Savannah has been allergic to dairy products for 6 years. After carrying out tests last autumn we've been reintroducing them slowly and so far so good. This was a real treat - the biggest icecream she's ever had.
