Chasse au Soleil













We walked and talked, then walked some more.
An hour or so, hand in hand,
Miles and I, following the Winter sun,
Chiarascuro, round our village.
Step by step come shadows,
Then, a-blaze, jewel-like,
Le soleil d'hiver
Says goodbye.
