Bret and Jermaine

Fans of New Zealand's hugely popular and very funny folk parody duo Flight of the Conchords are going to love this free paper toy download from Morgan Gleave. Very cool. Bret and Jermaine would look great in any music lover's bedroom, don't you think?

Happy Trick-or-Treating

EggPress have just brought out three nice Happy Halloween cards, if you're interested. I love Halloween and always make sure that our 'half' English kids celebrate it big time. Trick-or-treating is just not the same in France...

Rebecca Ellen

Every once in a while an artist comes along and takes my breath away - Rebecca Ellen is one such person. I've only just discovered Rebecca's work through Tent London and I'm blown over by her sense of colour, space and texture. This Welsh artist draws her inspiration from everyday life, all over Britain, and magically transforms the norm into the spectacular, creating extraordinary printed and embroidered artwork and wallpaper from the ordinary objects that surround us. Striking detail, beautiful stories in stitches. Love it!

Clemens Habicht

If you're lucky enough to live in Melbourne, don't miss this wonderful exhibition, 100 Kites, by Clemens Habicht at the Lamington Drive Gallery (runs to 10 Oct). This is the Paris-based illustrator, graphic designer and film director's first solo exhibition, described as "an illustrative exercise in restrictions and limitations". Habicht set himself the task of creating 100 collaged kites, made from second-hand books, and has made a video piece of his birds flying over Paris to accompany them. Lovely!

Check out Habicht's beautiful illustration, design and film portfolio here.
