Detail of Cloud Walk

If I were to choose a new piece of artwork for our home it would have to be something by Belgian graphic artist Ronald Ceuppens. Seldom have I seen such beauty.

Ronald enjoys nature, going for long walks, hiking in the mountains or exploring the city.
He uses the sketches, drawings and objects collected during his walks to make the design for his prints, reducing the itineraries to their abstract form.

The Golden Loop

Nostalgia for the past
The Search for future pleasure

Serenity

Ronald sells some of his smaller limited edition work in his Fleurografie etsy and bigcartel shops. He also has a beautiful blog.

Blushing Birdlings

Marjorie Liucci's beautiful hand sculpted and hand sewn art dolls caught my eye yesterday. Aren't they pretty? Made from polymer clay, muslin and antique and new fabrics and trim these two little blushing birdlings would look lovely on display in a nursery or in a little girl's room. I really like the detail on the wings. Little Miss Pink Crested Birdling has already flown away to a new home but her blue companion is waiting patiently for a new owner in Marmee Craft's bigcartel shop.

Do have a look at her etsy store too. Marjorie also sells beautiful prints, originals, stickers, jointed paper dolls, stationery and paper goods. You can keep up to date with her latest projects via her blog.

Play Time

Sorry folks, it's been a bit quieter here today.
We have family staying and Mr B. has taken a few days holiday so that we can spend some quality time together. The weather's gorgeous and I have to admit that it's been nice having an afternoon off to relax and enjoy the sunshine!
I hope you all have a great weekend - please make time for play!

Yet another beautiful wooden combination puzzle to add to our collection...

Dutch window decorator and graphic designer Koosi loves colour.
If you're ever looking for fun, affordable vintage paper goods or bright handmade one-of-a-kind clothes for your little ones, this pretty etsy store is definitely worth a visit.
