I really can't remember how I fell into Susanna Sundman's (sussuni) world (pinterest, peut-être ?) but I am enjoying her use of colour and composition, which reminds me a little of Klimt's sketches and unfinished works sometimes.

Patchwork Play

 

I have my eye on BluBoxx, a Dutch newcomer making educational, sustainable toys using as little energy and as much recycled material as possible.

The company will be presenting its first prototype, a giant, five-piece shape set, handmade from foam and decorated with removable, washable patchwork covers created from recycled denim, at  DMY12 in Berlin, starting 6th June.

A puzzle, a seat, a toy, the BluBloxx is sure to please kids and parents alike.

Wouldn't these be great in a nursery or pre-school environment...

Yes, it's Mother's Day in France today.

Unfortunately I can't be with my little tribu so we'll celebrate properly in a few days time.

I am spending the day with my Mum in England though, which makes a change.

I hope you all have a wonderful time!

Not one, not two, not three but FOUR new wooden toys have been added to the Kedublock collection, all beautifully handmade by this talented craftsman in Portugal.

Milk Floats & Minis

So, I'm back in the UK on a flying visit to see my mum who's ill in hospital.

I'm looking forward to taking a trip down memory lane though, and plan to make the most of the long Bank Holiday Jubilee weekend along with everyone else.
