#FF - Felt Friday

Help! I'm running out of ideas for my #FF feature!

I'm really glad I found these fun felt fingerpuppet sets today though.
From what I can make out, you can either buy them readymade or in kit form.
They're the handy work (ha! ha!) of one of my inspiring Czech friends Marie from Šapitó.
I found them in her Fler shop, but it would probably be a lot easier to buy them directly from her family business here.

Balancing, Balls and Bikinis

If you've been following me for a while, you'll know

As always, I am drawn to her niave, primitive style and the playfulness of her prints.
I'm very lucky to own a Princess in Red Bikini and it makes me smile everyday.

Perfect for little ones, for nurseries, child's bedrooms and playspaces, Britt-Marie's limited-edition prints will also appeal to creatives looking for something unique for their home.

I really am delighted to be carrying a small selection in the Kickcan & Conkers Shop.

 My Images of the Day,

Love!

Brand Watch: Paade Mode

I swear my ... heart ... skipped ... a ... beat ... when I discovered

It's no secret that I am drawn to Eastern European and Baltic design, so you won't be too surprised to learn that this upandcoming brand is firmly and proudly rooted in Latvia.

Offering limited-edition clothing for boys and girls (0-8 years), the experienced team behind Paade Mode believe children can be stylish and at ease every day. Incorporating elements of Latvian culture and nature, their new Autumn / Winter Collection ''The Pattern" is simple, modern and versatile, including soft merino wool jackets and bobble leggings, perfect for playing outside in Latvian climes or curling up on the sofa with a book at home.
I love the soft salmon pink and grey combo here as well as the use of their 16th Century family coat of arms on the long sleeved tees.

Paade Mode's new AW collection is available in a number of select stores across Latvia, as well as being online. The brand  has an etsy shop for international customers, currently carrying its SS12 collection. You can expect to see their new warmer knits, dresses, linen shirts and trousers there in the coming weeks.

Definitely one to keep an eye on, I'd say. And I am smitten with these photographs,
styled by Santa B. Mihelsone (the beautiful lady behind this fine new site) and taken by Aiga Redmane.

T for Totem

Good Morning!
Dino Sanchez's stackable wooden totem blocks make me smile.

For playrooms or desktops, each block is handmade in the US from solid oak and walnut with non-toxic finishes. You can buy them from Vitrine or Dino's shop for $60.

Sponsor Meet & Greet: A Most Curious Kids Fair

If you're a style-saavy parent, follow me on Facebook or Twitter and live in the UK, I'm sure you'll have already made a note of these three dates in your diary!

If you're a style-saavy parent and don't follow me on Facebook or Twitter, you probably won't know what I'm talking about. Or maybe I'm wrong... Maybe if I mention that  interior design journalist and stylist Becky-Hoh-Hale, founder of the successful vintage events, hire and style company A Most Curious Party and the Most Curious Wedding Fair, is the organiser, the penny will drop and your face will light up with a smile...

I'm guessing that a few of you may have even exhibited at Becky's first Most Curious Baby Fair this Summer. If you did, you'll know that the event organisers are looking for really unique, handmade, vintage and design-led products for their public.

The Most Curious Fairs are put together as a fun day out, combining shopping with all important kiddie entertainment. The events will showcase over 40 handpicked exhibitors who offer everything from the best in children's most fashion forward brands, beautiful handmade maternity pieces, interior products and illustrations perfect for children’s rooms, along with retro style accessories and vintage collectables.

So now you know!

Three fairs in Bethnal Green London, Brighton & Norwich
Three dates to add to your diary.

Perhaps you'd like to exhibit yourself?
I hope so, but do hurry, applications close on October 22nd
