From Me to You - 500th post giveaway


Time for a giveaway to celebrate my 500th post! Before I show you the goodies, I'd like to say Thank You to each and everyone of you for dropping in to see me at Kickcan & Conkers. Your comments and encouragement make this whole blogging experience worthwhile and give me the impetus to carry on searching and sharing on a daily basis. Mille fois merci, mes amis!

I've decided to offer two giveaways, now that I have over 200 followers, both hopefully representative of my-almost-finished-and-yes-I'm-sure-you're-sick-of-me-saying-that shop. Kickcan & Conkers will be offering vintage and modern finds for kids and the young at heart!

So, the first lucky person will receive this fun Polish cardboard city toy and Polish folk picture book (short English translation provided), which I will be selling in my shop.







The second winner will receive this beautiful book by one of my favourite illustrators BlexBolex.
L'Imagier des Gens was awarded the Best Worldwide Book Design in 2009. My copy is in French, but the illustrations speak for themselves.

If you'd like to enter my giveaway, please leave me a comment telling me which present you'd like to win and perhaps a word or two about what you'd like to see on the Kickcan & Conkers blog in the future. The usual drill applies, so if you spread the word via twitter, facebook, etc let me know and I will enter you twice.

    I would love the Polish cardboard city toy and Polish folk picture book . I don't know if you have heard of m. sasek who illustrated and wrote a series of childrens travel books called 'This is' They have been reissued in all there glory http://www.miroslavsasek.com/

    oh wow! 500 posts? that's amazing. i am almost at 200 and that feels like a landmark. i love the cardboard city. i really love it. is it vintage? if i don't win, will i ever be able to find one? i really think i've got to have one.

    I LOVE the polish stuff. I found a nice old polish record cover the other day. And I don´t think you have to change everything, you blog is perfect as it is. Soon I have my 600 post, maybe I have to give away something then..

    i'm always looking for one of those kid's puzzles/games - lots of multi-coloured transparent perspex shapes that slotted together. does it ring a bell?
