Just Paper

Typewriter

Lampshades

Alice Jacket

Polaroid SLR Camera

Singer Sewing Machine

Unbelievable but true - All of these objects have been crafted from paper.
As you know, Jennifer Collier has long been one of my favourite artists.
She has just unveiled her new website and I am once again in awe of the intricacy and detail of each of her creations.
I can but urge you to have a look for yourself....

Inspiration: The Book Tree Press

Selected photography by Angus Bremner 2009

Hand Cut and bound paper hot balloon with a miniature concertina book. Made from ephemera.

Hand cut paper tree made from Silkscreen printed paper.

Paper
A constant source of inspiration
Every single detail

Edinburgh-based illustrator and book artist Lucy Roscoe loves folding, binding, printmaking and all things papery. She runs a small artist's press which produces unique artist's books, prints, cards and decorations.
I have to admit that her Hot Air Balloons caught my eye first, I love the tiny book in the basket. What a special, original Christening gift or keepsake they would make.
I hope you'll take the time to browse Lucy's website, all her designs are beautiful, and perhaps send her an email if there's anything you are interested in buying.

Simply lovely.

Theatrical Treats

Why not introduce your children to the magical world of theatre this Christmas by offering them one of Benjamin Pollock's beautiful Toy Theatre matchbox sets, cards or small-scale models? One of my favourite toy shops!
