Colour My Monday #21

Today
Started off as usual in our white and grey home

The weather was so-so,
So we decided to head to Montpellier and visit the zoo

Nothing like a walk in the country to brighten up your day.

Happy Monday!

Shop Watch: Trzy Myszy

If you looked at my contribution to Tiny & Little yesterday you will have seen one of Trzy Myszy's cardboard toy castles.

I have known about this Polish company for over a year now and have watched it grow from strength to strength.  A small family-run business, Trzy Myszy started out with just a couple of simple, eye-catching kids' designs made from sturdy cardboard and have since expanded their catalogue to offer playhouses, cars, planes, dolls houses, clocks and other toys.

Customisable,  recyclable and good fun - exactly the way toys should be!

Give Me Three #7

I love handmade soft toys.
These small farm animals caught my eye the other day.
Have a look at FF Design's shop via her beautiful blog.
Black and white eye candy with an occasional, soothing touch of colour.
Off the beaten track, where I like to wander...

Mix n' Match

Something colourful and fun to start the week.
Merrilee's homemade Mix n' Match Easter pals, which I'm sure her children will play with all year long. So cute! I 'd love to see them in her shop one day.
Thanks for the heads up Modern Parents Messy Kids.

Tiny & Little #2

My Image of The Day.

I love Kirsty Elson's work, she's a woman of many talents.

I was so pleased to include her seahorses in my contribution to the latest issue of the Australian online children's magazine Tiny & Little. If you recall, issue no. 2 is based on the beautiful theme of Slow Childhood with a focus on boys.

Take your time,
& Enjoy!

Five Faves #52

I have to say that we're really enjoying our Easter break. We're taking everything slowly - long lie-ins, breakfast in bed, late lunches, late everything - it's so good to unwind, and we still have one more week left...

My Five Faves this week:

 1) Favourite Vintage Find - Tug Boat Models, Ethanollie*

2) Favourite Postcard - Chie Miyazaki, Textextext**

4)  Favourite New Blog- Nadia Tan's Little Projectiles
