A World of Folds

One of my favourite blogs and online shops Upon a Fold is celebrating its first birthday. What a year it's been!
Justine Fahd has an amazing eye for beautiful, original paper finds from all over the world and her latest discoveries are quite superb. Will you just look at this Circus at Midnight paper work by Tegamiya (Terada Mizuho) - a paper must-have if ever I saw one!

Yes folks, it's party time at Upon A Fold!

As well as spoiling us with twenty new paper goodies from afar, Justine has prepared a great DIY gift to say Thank You for our custom and is sending it out with all orders as of yesterday.

But that's not all - never twice without thrice, n'est-ce pas! Upon a Fold is also organising it's first giveaway, and what a beauty it is too, five themed packs bursting with paper treats. I strongly advise you to fly over there now and  put your name in the hat straightaway. This really is too good to be missed.

Congratulations Justine, long live Upon a Fold!

Canasta de Mimbre

I love Cecila's new little house and collage pin sets.
She's opened an online shop you know, I'm sure you'll appreciate her poetical paper world. Always so quiet and soothing, don't you think?

Fly, Fly, Butterfly

Top of the Morning to You!
Did you have a good weekend? Are you raring to go?

I thought we'd kick off our Colour My Monday posts with Philippe Caillaud's beautiful paper butterfly installations. I love his Shanghai Underground work shown above and the butterflies made from Parisan metro tickets. A poetical way to start the week, enjoy!

Bonne Journée!

Up, Up and Away

Paper really is extraordinary, don't you think?

These beautiful 3D mobiles and wall art by Gosh and Golly* are just perfect for brightening up your little ones' room and taking them to the Land of Nod.

Alternatively, if you're feeling crafty, you could have a go at making these simple but stunning hot air balloon mobiles using Lizzie's tutorial over here**

  Sweet dreams!

Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat
Yes, it'll be here before you can say Jack Robinson folks!
Why not have a go at making these paper reindeers and pocket advent calendar garlands with your children?
I'd quite like to see those bright paper fellows on display all year round, wouldn't you?
