Colour My Monday #22

Bonjour, bonjour !

So? How was your weekend?
Ours involved a trip to the beach, a boat ride to the Albert Dubout museum and an hour in the sun watching a water jousting competition - ouch! bad sunburn today!
I think I'll be staying inside for a while.

Happy Monday!

Circo! Circo!

I've had my beady eye on these collages for a long time.
Alexandra's fun, limited-edition circus postcards (pack of five) would look beautiful framed in a nursery or child's room (who am I kidding, I'm forty-four and I've just ordered a set for myself!), and can be yours for only 5 EUR.
You might like to take a look at her linen circus performer softies while you're over there as well...you can never have too much of a good thing, right?

Canasta de Mimbre

I love Cecila's new little house and collage pin sets.
She's opened an online shop you know, I'm sure you'll appreciate her poetical paper world. Always so quiet and soothing, don't you think?

If you only look at one portfolio today make it be that of Argentinian artist Adolfo Nigro, un très grand Monsieur. Be warned though, there's a lot to explore and marvel at, especially if you are interested in wooden toys and objects. This has to be one of my most interesting and inspiring finds to date. Enjoy!

Muchas gracias Eleonora!

Dani Sanchis

Check out Spanish graphic designer/artist Dani Sanchis' huge portfolio. I love his "Alta Fantasia" children-themed collages in particular.
