Let's go eco-ethnic

If you love Zid Zid Kids as much as I do, you'll be pleased to know that the excellent Dutch eco-family boutique Shak-Shuka is offering a 15% reduction on its entire play section until midnight 15th November (CET) using the promo code SINT. Shak-Shuka offer a great selection of quality, eco-toys and accessories for children, including names like Kapla, Inke, Kidsontheroof, Ecodis, NooNoo and Miva.

I found Shak-Shuka a while ago thanks to Bold & Noble, who now sell their growth chart and prints through this store. So Happy Kids, a relatively new kid on the block and one of my favourite French/English addresses for child-related finds, put them back on my radar, so merci Su!

In a similar vein, Foxcat, a newcomer to etsy, sells some original, ethnic-inspired handmade and embroidered dolls from fabric remnants and recycled clothing. I especially love the folk birds and mule.
