La Campagne

I'm a city girl at heart and curious is my middle name. I like to be out and about, in the hustle and bustle, watching people, discovering new things, artists, books, shops... alas, not much of that here. Life is slower and gentler in our tiny village in the South of France. We have bulls, vineyards, olive trees and vieilles pierres. It's a beautiful place to grow up in I think. My three children love it.

  1. I feel the same way you do, so adjusting to life in a German village (especially since we aren't German) hasn't been easy. It's a life that is slow, safe, and scenic, though.

  2. Aw sounds wonderful and looks lovely and sunny too! I'm a city girl too, and Manchester and Leeds are only an hour away so I feel lucky to have the best of both worlds... just without the sun!

  4. Really lovely to see where you are. I too love the bustle of a city, but am already missing the peace & tranquility of my tiny French village. It is sometimes hard to find the balance.
