Allez, un peu de courage - it's almost the weekend! 

This week seems to have flown by, after Bank Holiday Monday, don't you think?

I had thousands of things to do before the kids break up for two weeks this evening, but hélas ... I guess I was a tad over optimistic, as usual.

I never got chance to put together my Mercredi Moodboard feature this week (although I have created a new pinboard over here), so today's post includes a few of my current favourite images.

I know, I know...

I hardly ever write about baby wear. My three kids are almost all in to double figures and my baby years are way behind me. But... How an earth could I resist sharing these wonderful pictures from Barbara Berrada's brand new SS14 collection? Isn't Gabin adorable? The perfect cherub to model Les Zigouis' beautiful, 100% handmade clothes for "little dreamers"  - LOVE!

Well hello there!

I hope you all enjoyed the Easter break, and didn't eat too much chocolate!!!

I have been thinking abot blogging quite a lot recently, taking stock of all the changes that have taken place online over the past five years and trying to decide where I want to go with it all in the future. It's interesting and exciting, don't you think?

I still love blogging as much as I did when I first started back in 2009, but I must admit that pinterest and tumblr are wonderful too! Each platform is different, allowing me to share different things with different audiences around the world. They're all complementary though.

I love to mix and match, to collect and curate, reveal the unexpected.

Today Jessica Simorte's paintings and Suussie's handcrafted toys and accessories seem to complement each other so well.I thinks so, anyway.

Bonjour !

I love Wednesdays! A lot of French children don't have school (the last year for us), so we get a mini-break halfway through the week with a long lie-in, breakfast outside on our sunny balcony and PJs until lunch time.  

La vie est belle - oh yeah!

Wednesday's also the day I get to curate a moodboard featuring some of my recent favourite finds. Visual poetry and sunshine - a happy combination!

If you follow me on pinterest (gosh over 128,000 of you do, that's amazing, thank you!) you'll have gathered that I love interior design and art. After almost 5 years online, I think I'm still often associated with vintage toy designs, understandably so, but my closer friends and loyal K&C followers also know that I love fashion, colour, patterns and textures, ... the list is long!

The online landscape has changed so much over the past 5 years, hasn't it? I admit that I now only read only a handful of very special blogs on a daily basis. Some are absolute favourites, authored by virtual kindred spirits, others entice me, surprise me, grow on me. 

I see hundreds of images everyday online but when I visit Annie Cruse's blog Stylejuicer, it always feels so fresh, crisp and new. Just what my e-doctor ordered - bliss! Whether sharing healthy recipes, curating a moodboard or writing about modern or vintage homes, Anne has a knack of making me see things in a different light. It's relaxing, inspiring, une valeur sûre.

Time to rethink K&C perhaps...

Well hello!

I'm back after a wonderful weekend with friends and family.

We had two special birthdays last week, my youngest son's and my husband's, 

so double fête chez nous.

Luckily the weather has been glorious and I could almost ... almost have gone for a swim in the pool. Yep, it already feels like Summer's on it's way!
