I've decided to organise a little give-away to celebrate my first blog milestone. I am offering the following three vintage treasures:
Abbatt Toys snap cards in original box
If you'd like to enter into the give-away, just leave me a comment telling me which of these three finds you prefer and why. The usual rules apply, if you blog or tweet about the give-away you'll get one extra entry (make sure you let me know though!). I'll randomly pick a winner on Sunday 20th of September. Look forward to hearing from you - à très bientôt!
oooo I love Alaine Gree how could I not!! love your blog and all your fab finds! thanks:)X
ReplyDeleteGosh, really difficult choice as they're all fantastic! But I think I'd have to go with the wonderful French ocean book, as I've been in love with the ocean all my life - and it's illlustrated by Alain Gree! thanks for this wonderful giveaway. :)
ReplyDeleteLove abounds but snap is FUN! :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your 100 posts, Deb!

ReplyDeleteHello. thanks for your comment on my blog. I'd love to entered into the giveaway. My favourite is the ocean book..it would be lovely to use it with my little ones!My eldest love the sea. Its so funny that your blog starts with the work by Cori. I was pondering yesterday which one to buy from her on Etsy...strange!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog Deborah. As you know I am a fan of vintage toys and would be hard pressed to choose between these gorgeous finds. If I had to pick one though it would be the cards. The images are wonderful and I would use them to back a set of shelves that I have my toys on.
ReplyDeleteare you kidding..... how can you part with any of these lovely things!!?!?
ReplyDeleteOkay if I have to pick something then it would be the Alain Gree book, he is one of my heros!

ReplyDeleteHi Deb! I knew I had your blog address in my favs!! How beautiful everthing is! You must have so much fun going to thrift stores!! Hope all is well with you!
ReplyDeleteLove,Elise
You have been writing a lot and it's all great. Keep up the good work. Well I haven't heard of Alain Gree but that one is my favourite because when I was young I was crazy about Jaques Cousteau (not sure if that spelling is correct) and those pictures remind me of his programme. Hope that makes sense, i'll have to go and find out about Alain Gree now, I feel i've missed out on something.

Congratulations on 100 posts! I just started a blog and I am impressed. I love the tray puzzle, I collect classic toys and have them displayed all throughout my apartment. I have very few readers but I will definitely post about your give away.

ReplyDeleteHow have I not seen this blog before? Glad I made it!
ReplyDeleteYou are too cruel to make us pick only one! I can't decide...each is dripping with gorgeousness. The book? Because there are more images inside that I can't see that I want to see.

Hello! Just discovered your blog last night and it's full of all the things I love. I'm a textile student and am having a particular obsession lately with illustrated childrens vintage bits and bobs! Must definitely make sure to base my next project around this. Snap has to be my favourite. I can just imagine how I could translate it into some beautiful knitwear. Ah so many ideas so little time! Tara for now

Hi K&C,
ReplyDeleteGreat page.
Have been paying attention since I saw a reference on the Animalarium blog.
Very excited about your give away.
My pic is Sous l'Océan. I share a hosue with about 50 or so fish, a turtle, 2 cats a fish loving boyfriend (oh and a freind just returned form South America). So... anything to do with underwater life gets the big thumbs up from our household. The fact that it is french and the cover that reminds me of 'The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou'make it even more appealing.
I have had a link to your page on my blog for a while (http://kirstylovescardboard.wordpress.com/) and have just added a link to your fabulous giveaway. (The links can be a bit hard to find. They are at the very bottom under 'things I like' and onyl 10 are displayed at random. When i learn how to manipulate the template I will move them to the side. Find this much more useful.
Anyway, nice blogging. Keep it up.
