Turning and Turning



Wow! It's way past my bed time but I had to post this vintage planetarium from Agent Gallery Chicago.

This planetarium shows the rotation of the sun and moon along with the changing of the season. Base indicates the month and season while the chain drive moves the moon around the sun showing day and night. A very simple, yet effective tool in demonstrating the earth and moon rotation.

What a cool find! Love it!

    This exactly what I need right now!! My class are 'doing' a science unit all about the Earth, Sun and Moon. Do you think they could send it by yesterday??
