hey, whatever suits you! It's certainly an interesting article and I tend to agree that being busy is reassuring. I am sure I could cut out a lot of unimportant things in my life to enjoy just "being" more.
People love to say they've been busy these days when asked what they've been doing. Anything less is often seen as being lazy. Being still or taking time to enjoy our surroundings or each other or even being by ourselves reading or walking is not laziness but delights our soul and gives life an extra dimension of joy.
I am struggling just to take some time to read a fun book- but I am not complaining really- I paint because I love it so when I am busy painting I am loving it- I just wish the day had more hours;)(and we had some cleaning help, driving the kids help, cooking help, gardening help, etc..)
Oh I love that little teddy! I bought one from Karen at the 3d2D craft fair at the Edinburgh Festival last summer and wanted to keep it but had to give it to my god-daughter (who I had bought it for) - perhaps now's a good time to buy me one!!
Oh and I used to have a space hopper just like that - it was such fun!
Ah, I love this message. I whole heartily agree! The photos are amazing. I love the thought provoking graffiti and the bouncing ball girl. Wonderful, Deborah!
