Inspiration: Midnight Blue

Atelier Charivari has long been a favourite address of mine. Specialising in vintage French furniture from the 50-70's, their products always look impeccable and often sell within a few days.

Once again, this small business owes a great deal of its success online to its beautiful, clean styling, Today I am drawn to their deep midnight blue backdrop. It's not a colour I would usually go for, but I really love how it offsets the gold accessories and honey-coloured furniture in these shots.
An interesting combo that seems to work well with this French industrial look.

  1. Love the new header, looks great. I agree the midnight blue is beautiful, it works so well with golden tones.

  2. Love the blue and brick combo Deborah. we painted Gabriels bedroom this colour-but it ended up looking more like a spaceship!! Thanks so much for asking to pin some of my shots-that would be great :-)
