Shop Watch: Les Moineaux Decoration

Some of you may remember me including Laura di Francesco's work for Les Moineaux in the latest issue of Babiekins Magazine. This French children's decor shop hadn't opened at the time but I'm pleased to announce that it's finally gone live.

Les Moineaux Décoration offers a small selection of wallpaper, stickers, friezes, posters and prints for children, all handrawn by illustrators such as Laura di Francasco, Valerio Vidali and Gianluca Foli.
Valerio Vidali's explorer collection caught my eye in particular and his poster and stickers will no doubt be a great success with little boys.

The fledgling site is in French and English but if you have any questions or problems ordering, feel free to send an email.

Small - Summer 10

Have you seen it? The brand new Summer 10 issue of Small Magazine is now online and is chock-full of wonderful finds.

I love these new-to-me "Peepwool" folks created by Amy Arnold and am thrilled to see Hattie Newman and Laura di Francesco's work get so much well-deserved attention (remember? I featured them here and here).
So, if you haven't already seen it, get yourself a drink, sit down and enjoy - it's summertime...
I think?

Laura Di Francesco

Happy Monday Morning!

Could we share it?

I'm pretty sure you going to love Laura's artwork. I mean, just look at these prints! Need I say more? I came across this Italian illustrator, painter, textile and stage designer whilst browsing the Kindergallery site last night (did you know they also have a blog showcasing art and design for kids?) . Just love it! Laura lives in Stockholm (sigh!) and lives, breathes art.
Her portfolio is wonderful, and I can but recommend that you sit down for 5 mins with a cuppa to discover her delightful illustrations, sketchbooks and toys. She also has a fab blog and etsy shop (pesce rosso). I think she deserves to be known, don't you?
I have to say that I've really fallen in love with her artbags...
