Heathcliff, I'm Home!
“...my love for Heathcliff resembles
the eternal rocks beneath - a source of little visible delight, but
necessary. Nelly, I am Heathcliff - he's always, always in my mind - not
as a pleasure, any more then I am always a pleasure to myself - but, as
my own being...”
Wuthering Heights, Charlotte Bronte
It's so good to be home!
The first thing I did yesterday was go for a long walk on Ilkley Moors.
Beautiful!
I would so love to be there. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely images! I did my postgraduate degree at the University of Leeds about 12 years ago now, and used to wander through the moors to clear my head and chase away writer's block (plus, could never turn down a good curry in Bradford!)
ReplyDeleteSending you all the best from Austin, TX.
