I found a nice selection of kids' furniture at

new-to-me online vintage shop

2oldschool

But what really caught my eye was this 1960's memory game

and this fun bakelite figurebox, complete with printed cards, coins, dice, sticks and cubes.

What a treasure!

Detail of Cloud Walk

If I were to choose a new piece of artwork for our home it would have to be something by Belgian graphic artist Ronald Ceuppens. Seldom have I seen such beauty.

Ronald enjoys nature, going for long walks, hiking in the mountains or exploring the city.
He uses the sketches, drawings and objects collected during his walks to make the design for his prints, reducing the itineraries to their abstract form.

The Golden Loop

Fragments
Memory
Nostalgia for the past
The Search for future pleasure
Silence
and
Serenity

Ronald sells some of his smaller limited edition work in his Fleurografie etsy and bigcartel shops. He also has a beautiful blog.

Oficina do Achado

Aren't these toys lovely?

Portugese crafter/maker Lucia Amaral (aka Oficina do Achado) has designed an impressive selection of traditional childhood games using bright fabrics, wood and non-toxic paints to give them a modern twist. Most of her games come in a pretty matching bag, making them ideal for travel and for adding a touch of colour to a child's room.

Lucia's work is available through her blog so if you're interested in anything, please send her an email for more information.
