Le Train Fantôme  is one of my favourites

But I also mean that literally

Fanja will be adding her new mini, limited-edition Spring collection to her shop this afternoon at around 3.30 pm GMT

Inspiration: Red & Green

 

If you have some free time today or during the Christmas holidays have a look at  the work of London-based duo Delphine and Ovannak Grey, a.k.a. All Cats Are Grey,. The talented, music-loving pair design bold and original screenprinted posters and cards as well as offering printing services. I really like their style and I'm drawn to their use of colour and composition  in particular - one to follow in 2011.

Alice Pattullo

Another gem of a book to add to my wish-list! Alice Pattulo's "aid to the amateur sailor or the aspiring landlubber" is a handmade book "providing a miscellany of facts, fabrications and futile thoughts for the docile sailor". It's just one of the fun, retro-inspired pieces I discovered in Alice's portfolio this weekend, and is available for purchase (£15) along with her prints (via email).

Alice has just graduated from Brighton University with a First Class Honours in illustration and is part of a group of illustrators called Illustrator's Elbow.
Definitely one to watch, me thinks...
