Dylan (14), in particular, has been eating his greens, you see. Lots of them, infact. So much so that he now towers above his father and I and has long since stopped borrowing our socks ( size 47 shoe and growing fast...). I'm fairly tall (1.73m) but have to look up to talk to him (currently standing at 1.88m!). This is all very well if you're into basketball but it's starting to pose a problem at home. Thank goodness for our high ceilings!
Do you recognise these patterns by two of my favourite illustrators? If you recall, the top one is by Melissa Castrillon, whose work I showed you here, and the second by Thereza Rowe, my star artist for the big 500. Both lucky artists were picked to design a sheet of wrapping paper for Frinton Press's 2009 Wrapping Paper Project.
The Wrapping Paper Project proved a great success and London-based Frinton Press are once again calling for submissions. They intend to launch pre-Christmas in Autumn some time and would like all artwork to be submitted by 30th April. If you're interested in taking part, you'll find the full details on their site here. The finalists will also have the opportunity of selling some of their other artworks, so thinking caps on, pens to the ready, et un, deux, trois, partez!

Thereza has a lovely shop where you can buy prints, bookmarks, books and postcards, including her two of hearts postcard, which I featured in an earlier post.
She's always adding new things, so you need to check in often. A couple of her designs are also available on the Envelop site (a Blackies tote bag and a Bandit Chickens pillow). You can see more of Thereza's work on Flickr, and of course, on her blog, which I definitely recommend. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next!
