Encounter Evie

I'd like you to meet Bruce, Vladimir, Egor and Kimtortion, four members of Evie's 10-strong circus troupe. They will be on display and on sale at enCounter / Craft Victoria until March 5th (see price list and details here and here).
I featured Evie Barrow's (Handmade Romance) dapper Bow Tie Boys in the latest issue of Babiekins, but have to say that this travelling circus is her best work to date - congratulations Evie, they're absolutely wonderful, I love them all!

  5. Chris from hutch studio here,
I'm particularly drawn to Vladimir. I can see "Cardboard Man" dancing with him.

  6. I love Evie's work, and yes, I totally agree - this is her best work to date. I'd love to buy one but I'm hoping a collector snaps them all up and they go on display somewhere for many to enjoy - they work so much better as a group. They just blow me away, they are so amazing :) Kx

  10. These soft toys are very beautiful I like circus theme and would like to go back to it in my designs at some pint. To your question: I have been in London for the past 13 years and right now working very hard on my business, moving home for good, wont be a realistic move at the moment, as business has to be making much more money for me to go there, and at the same time like London, so my plan is to stay linked to this city and country for as long as i can. Gran canaria is amazing but it lucks a lot of things that i need for my work and current life. I am trying to make a smooth and slow transition so I won't regret going back in the future, my heart is in 2 places!!

And yes going to France and searching for antiques and vintage with you sounds like a good idea, we go 50 each haha...
